LaCannibale
What's in a name?
The event will honour the greatest rider of all time, Eddy Merckx, who was called “The Cannibal” due to his insatiable and uncompromising hunger for winning. His urge to win was and still is legendary. The event is a hommage to both the rider and the man Eddy Merckx.
With LaCannibale – Festival du Ventoux we are following in Eddy Merckx’ footsteps. The Mont Ventoux is considered to be one of the very toughest climbs in the world of cycling: a mountain that demands pure strength and perseverance. Unleash the cannibal in you and take on the ultimate challenge. If you can tame the Ventoux, you will write your own cycling history.
SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE
TO WALK AGAIN
For more than 20 years, To Walk Again has been making a difference by thinking in terms of possibilities rather than limitations. Everyone can always improve, even if you have a severe disability. And people with disabilities also have the right to self-development, to participate in sports and exercise.
To Walk Again firmly believes in progress: that is why it invests in research and development, so that new therapies can be developed and necessary treatments receive greater recognition and better reimbursement.
To Walk Again is a world leader in the use of exoskeletons and utilises the latest technologies in rehabilitation.
In addition, To Walk Again makes dreams come true and offers children with physical disabilities an unforgettable week of camping or an adventure abroad every year. You have to see it to believe it!
It should be clear: To Walk Again is no ordinary association. To Walk Again brings hope for the future, pushes boundaries and moves mountains, even the Mont Ventoux.
