Practical

LaCannibale – Festival du Ventoux 2026 will take place on 26 and 27 June 2026 on and around Mont Ventoux, with the start and finish in the picturesque village of Bédoin.

Friday, June 26

  • 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Preparation rides* – free start — Village Cannibale
  • 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Collection of participant pack — Village Cannibale


* Routes are not signposted, are based on gpx files, and do not include refreshment stations along the route.

Saturday, June 27

  • 6:00 AM: Group start WALK – La Cannibale & La Cannibalette — Village Cannibale*
  • 6:30 AM: Group start BIKE – La Cannibale & La Cannibalette — Village Cannibale
  • 7:30 AM: Group start BIKE – Sault & Bédoin Challenge — Village Cannibale
  • 8:00 AM: Group start To Walk Again ambassadors — Village Cannibale
  • 7:00 PM: Finish closes — Mont Ventoux Summit
  • 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Live performance by cover band The Pickles — Village Cannibale
  • 8:30 PM: Podium ceremony — Village Cannibale
  • 10:30 PM – 1:00 AM: Afterparty with DJ — Village Cannibale


The walking routes are not signposted; local guides will lead you in small groups along the route.

Together at the start, each at their own pace towards the summit.

Village Cannibale: Parking Route de Carpentras 219, 84410 Bédoin

  • Collection of participant pack (frame plate, bib number, cycling jersey or running shirt, etc.)
  • Start and finish location for all distances

A great ride flows just a bit smoother when you take good care of yourself. With these tips, you’ll keep a cool head and fresh legs. That way, you’ll not only reach the finish line, but also the dance floor.

💧 Drink regularly: Not just while cycling, but before and after your ride as well. Your body will thank you for it.

🧂 Give your bottle an extra boost: Add 3Action Hydration Tabs to help maintain your electrolyte and mineral balance.

🍌 Don’t skip the feed stations: Take a moment to stop, refuel, and enjoy. Replenishing your energy stores is just as important as ticking off the kilometres.

🚰 Cool down along the way: Spot a water fountain? Take a minute to refresh your head, neck, or arms.

🌳 Feeling the heat? Take a short break, find some shade, and give your body a chance to recover.

❤️ Listen to your body: Today isn’t just about performance, it’s about enjoying the ride wisely. Ride smart, ride safe!

🚴 Your safety is our priority: The roads are not closed, so please be courteous in traffic, stay alert at all times and take extra care on the descents.

The participation package includes:

  • A frame plate or bib number, personalised with your name if you register before 1 June 2026
  • A unique, high quality Bioracer cycling jersey or running shirt for a retail value of €59,50.

  • Generous supplies along the way and at the start on Saturday 27 June
  • Entirely signposted routes and .gpx files*
  • Entertainment in the Village Cannibale
  • A spectacular afterparty with live music and DJ
  • Professional technical assistance at the start and en rote offered by de Vlaamse Wielerschool
  • Professional medical assistance provided by the Medi-Moto emergency team, which will be attending with fully equipped ambulances, intervention motor cycles and highly specialised emergency physicians and nurses.

Important: No refreshment stations will be provided during the preparation rides on Friday, June 26.

Have you signed up for a particular distance, but on the day of the race your legs are feeling up to a different distance? No problem. You can change the distance at no extra cost.

For your safety and comfort

WALK

10:00 AM: Cut-off at the split between the 34 km and 20 km routes (approximately at km 9). After this point, participants must shorten their route and continue on the La Cannibalette course.

2:00 PM: Cut-off at Chalet Reynard towards Village Cannibale.

BIKE
11:30 AM: Cut-off at the route split, approximately 2 km after Séderon. After this point, participants on La Cannibale must shorten their route and continue on La Cannibalette.
4:00 PM: Cut-off in Sault for both La Cannibale and La Cannibalette.

If you’re unable to take part due to an injury or another reason, you can take out a cancellation policy when registering.

  • For cancellations up to and including 30 March 2026, 80% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • For cancellations up to and including 20 April 2026, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • From 21 April 2026 onwards, no refunds will be possible.

Any extras, such as logos on the T-shirt or the cancellation policy itself, are non-refundable (not exhaustive).

If you have already registered without the cancellation policy, it is no longer possible to purchase it afterwards.
